Rescue 1865 serves as the primary extrication apparatus for the Holmdel
First Aid Squad. The chassis of the truck is a 2002 International
7400 4x4 Crew cab. On the back of the truck is a 1984 Ranger 14
foot walk in box. This apparatus comes equipped with a 12 kilo
watt Onan PTO to power the tools and lights on the truck. Mounted
on the front bumper is a 12,000 lb winch. Located on the top of
the box portion of the truck is a 3000 watt Nightscan light tower.
In the box portion of the truck you will find the various tools available to the Rescue members. The primary extrication tools are comprised of a set of Lukas Rescue Tools. All of the primary hydraulic extrication tools are located in the rear passenger compartment.
